GUIDE TO LIVING IN LAKEMONT AND MONTREUX

The Lakemont/Montreux area of Cougar Mountain is located on the borders of Issaquah and Bellevue city limits.  It is 1 mile south of Exit 13 on I-90 with an easy commute into the downtown of Seattle, Bellevue, and Issaquah.  The quiet community is centrally located for dining, shopping, and entertainment.  Public transportation options are plentiful with Eastgate Park and Ride and Issaquah Transit Center less than a ten minute drive away. 

There are many options for leisure and spending time with the family.  If you love the outdoors, you can walk the trails at Cougar Mountain Regional Widland Park.  Spend a daytrip to Cougar Mountain Zoo.  Golf at the prestigious Newcastle Golf Course.  Visit the neighborhood parks of Lewis Creek Park, Lakemont Park, Silverleaf Park, and Collingwood Park.   Walk to grab a cup of coffee from the neighborhood Starbucks or buy some groceries from Town and Country. 

You can find starter homes with townhomes all the way to multi-million dollar luxury homes which makes Lakemont/Montreux very appealing to families.  It belongs to the Issaquah School District, one of the best in the state that has experienced significant growth the past five years and now educates nearly 20,000 students.  Cougar Ridge Elementary is one of the top rated elementary schools in the state.
